A video of actress Kate Winslet encouraging a young reporter has gone viral on social media.

Martha, 12, was allowed to interview the Titanic star for the ZDF children's program "logo" - but the girl was visibly excited.

In the video, Martha says in a strained voice that this is her first interview.

“You're doing this for the first time?” Kate Winslet asks.

»Watch out.« Then the 47-year-old leans forward and goes to eye level with the girl.

Winslet then tries to encourage Martha with emotional words.

»This interview will be the greatest interview ever.

And do you know why?

Because we just decided it's going to be like this," says the actress.

“You can ask me anything you want.

You don't have to be afraid."

"You can do it. Let's get started"

Martha is laughing in the background and seems relieved.

"You can do this. Let's get started," Winslet says.

In the conversation that follows, Winslet tells us which scenes she doesn't like shooting at all - namely the ones in which she is supposed to throw up.

'This is so disgusting.

You have to put cold vegetable soup in your mouth.

And then action!« When Martha asks her for a secret that no one knows, the actress tells us about her hobby: In her free time, she loves to cook for her family.

Kate Winslet is a mother of three herself, her youngest son is nine years old.

The actress can currently be seen in cinemas in »Avatar – The Way of Water«.
