Broccoli is healthy;
However, you would rather not find unwanted animals in the vegetables, as is the case in this TikTok video.
Whether for vegetarians, vegans or health-conscious people: broccoli is a popular vegetable that scores with lots of vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin K and folic acid.
It's a good idea to wash broccoli well before eating it, because green cabbage sometimes harbors pests, as a
TikTok
user was shocked to discover in a video.

Whether in salads or together with a dip: Anyone who has eaten broccoli raw should watch the following video.
The short clip shows a Swede arranging broccoli florets on a plate.
The camera finally zooms in on the vegetables and you can see small animals that look like beetles.
The animals are probably lice, the infestation of which went unnoticed during harvest and packaging in the supermarket.
If you do not want to get free proteins with your vegetables, it is best to wash and blanch the vegetables before eating them to ensure that any animals are killed.
If you buy frozen goods, there may still be animals in the broccoli, but they are no longer alive.
