The series is known for being light, silly, and trendy, and definitely delivers the goods in those areas.
One of the questions that comes up from time to time regarding the series, is how a young woman who makes a living from a public relations office in a non-senior position, can afford clothing items from top brands and reputed designers.

At the launch of the series at the French Consulate in New York, Collins tried to answer the question: "I like to think that Emily and Mindy have a huge storage unit of clothes that they share, and that Emily rents out clothes."

Among the items we identified clothes that were actually used in the series, as well as dozens of items that we did not see on screen, such as a neon yellow dress with dots, which we guess was intended for the gala evening, where Cooper wears a jacket in silver and black with a zebra print, with bombastic sleeves that resemble butterfly wings .
