Online influencer and bikini model, Karina Irvi, made headlines last year when she shared a video of her real body shape - without filters and Photoshop - and received harsh reactions from people who didn't like her excessive exposure.
This year, it seems, she's starting off with provocation again when she shared a video of herself dancing in a bikini in front of her stepfather and making people squirm in their seats in embarrassment.
Now she replies to everyone who humiliated her in the comments: "You are stupid people."
Karina Irby, 32, from Queensland, posted a TikTok video to her 1.2 million followers in which she is seen dancing in a bikini in front of her father, who turns to her and wonders what she's doing.
Karina is used to going against "trolls" who write nasty comments about her natural body - but she did not foresee this storm (or did she?).
In the short video, the founder of the swimwear brand Moana Swimwear is seen dancing to Britney Spears' hit Work B***h wearing a bikini from her swimwear line.
Her stepfather, also in a bathing suit, is seen behind her as she dances to the song.
The video was widely criticized and she told news.com.au in response that she thought the comments were "stupid".
She said: "No matter what you do on social media these days, someone will always find a way to bring you down or in this case - project their insecurities or problems onto you."
She added: "In this case the facts are quite simple. My stepfather and I have a great and normal relationship. We both have a good sense of humor and we like to do silly things to make others laugh."

Another problematic relationship with her parents
was photographed sitting on her stepfather's lap - and caused an uproar on the
network
. Hers is "inappropriate".
"It's a hot Australian Christmas and our family spent it by the pool - and that's where the swimsuits came from," she said, "I don't mind that kind of stuff. If you don't read the comments, they don't exist. However, I find it quite funny - and maybe It's also kind of sad - that so many people spend their holiday season getting angry online when they should be enjoying themselves with their family."

The video gained about 500 thousand views and hundreds of comments.
There were a few who cheered: "I love your videos Karina and it's lovely to meet your stepfather. Sorry, Tiktok is full of weirdos," commented one of the viewers and another added: "It's funny. I can't believe there are people who don't see what you really intended to convey in this video - A little fun."
"You're doing this in front of your stepfather, seriously? It's excessive," wrote one commenter who really didn't like what he saw and another added: "Who can feel comfortable dancing in a bikini like that in front of their stepfather?".
Another user wrote: "The way you dance and the way he looks at you is slightly disturbing."
Another concluded: "What the hell is going on here? What video did I click on?".
