(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - 'Songs Of Surrender', the new U2 album, will be released on March 17, a symbolic date for Ireland, which will contain 40 "re-imagined and re-recorded" songs, as announced by the band themselves on social media , posting a video that, on the notes of Beautiful Day, mixing historical images and animation, tells the group's journey.
A title that recalls that of Bono Vox's autobiography, 'Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story' (in Italy 'Surrender', published by Mondadori), released in early November, in which the U2 frontman gets naked, from childhood and adolescence in Dublin to the rise and success of the band, passing through philanthropic activity and global activism, among other things against AIDS and extreme poverty.
