RadioHead?
Radio silence for five years.
The last time the Brits released a record was in 2016.
At Moon Shaped Pool
was toured, in 2018. And nothing since.
The members of the group have launched other projects, but each on their own.
On January 8, during an interview with Spin, drummer Philip Selway hinted that a Radiohead comeback was not impossible.
"We're going to get together in early 2023, and I'm sure we'll start looking at other ideas for what's next,"
he explained
.
According to him, the release of
Kid A Mnesia,
in 2021, mixing the records
Kid A
and
Amnesiac,
was "
a natural conclusion"
to the history of the group.
But “
Hail
To The Thief
hasn't been recorded for a long time, hasn't it?
“says the musician.
A special edition of their sixth studio album, released in 2003, could then see the light of day in the months to come.

Ed O'Brien isn't closing the door either.
Last summer, he confided in the microphone of The Line-Up.
“The thing with Radiohead is that we could do something in a few years.
Or not,
he says.
But if it's going to happen, it's got to be five people saying, 'I really want to do this again with you'
."
Even in the spirit of the guitarist, the reformation of the group remains a very vague perspective.
The public must
“be able to accept that this never happens”,
he specifies.
Never, really never?
