With the participation of 19 teams of high school students, today, the first round of the second phase of the local qualifiers, which qualify to participate in the International Olympiad in Informatics for Teams, which will be organized by Italy, started remotely.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the tests of this round included several competitive programming issues in the English language within the curriculum of the World Olympiad for Teams, where the team must solve them within the specified time using the “C++” programming language exclusively.
The authority indicated that the second round of exams will be held on the ninth of next February, indicating that due to the coincidence of the exams of this stage with the school exams, the qualification rules will be amended. Calculating the percentage of the full mark in each of the two rounds, and then adopting the higher percentage.
