(ANSA) - BEIJING, JAN 11 - China has suspended the transit visa exemption for South Korean and Japanese citizens, in another retaliation against the entry restrictions decided by the two countries on arrivals from the Dragon to curb the spread of Covid-19 19.
This was announced by the Immigration Office, in the aftermath of the block on the issuance of new "short-term visas for business, tourism, medical treatment and private business in general".
Beijing has introduced measures in response to the entry regulations of the two countries deemed "discriminatory" against China, based on a negative Covid test carried out within 48 hours of boarding.
