(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 11 - The president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen proposed today - during the College of Commissioners which was also attended by NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg - to organize a joint meeting in Kiev, in the first week of February, between the EU executive and the Ukrainian government.
This was confirmed to ANSA by a senior EU official.
10-15 European Commissioners should go to Kiev.
For security reasons, there is little further information on the meeting which will be "a separate meeting" with respect to the already announced EU-Ukraine summit, confirmed for 3 February.
