From Russia new Soyuz to recover astronauts from ISS

Russia will send a new unmanned Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft on February 20 to bring Russian astronauts Dimitri Petelin and Sergey Prokopyev and American Frank Rubio back to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS). (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 11 JAN - Russia will send a new unmanned Soyuz MS-23 shuttle on February 20 to bring Russian astronauts Dimitri Petelin and Sergey Prokopyev and the American Frank Rubio back to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS).

The three had arrived with the SoyuzMS-22, now attached to the ISS and from which a loss of coolant had been detected in mid-December.

The latter will return to Earth unmanned.

This was announced by the Russian space agency Roscomos.
