Last January, NBC canceled traditional TV broadcasts;
Nominees stayed away from the event.
The reason for this was, among other things, massive criticism of the organizers for a lack of diversity.
This year, the celebrities returned, including nominated actress Jennifer Coolidge ("White Lotus").
