Mattarella: Iran stops. 'Stop the violence and executions'

The president conveyed to the Iranian ambassador 'Italy's firm condemnation and indignation at the brutal repression of demonstrations, the death sentences and the execution of many demonstrators' (ANSA)

received the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Reza Sabouri, at the Quirinale for the presentation of his credentials.
