End of suspense.
The Académie des César and Canal+ announced on Tuesday that the 48th edition of the prestigious ceremony will be presented neither by one nor by two people, but by a whole college of animators.
The eminent assembly will thus bring together Leïla Bekhti, Jérôme Commandeur, Jamel Debbouze, Emmanuelle Devos, Léa Drucker, Eye Haïdara, Alex Lutz, Raphaël Personnaz and Ahmed Sylla, all under the chairmanship of Tahar Rahim.

Last week, the Académie des César also decided to withdraw, from this year, the people implicated
"for acts of violence"
.
The announcement came several weeks after the indictment of the young actor Sofiane Bennacer, revealed this fall in
Les Amandiers
, by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.
In the process, the Academy had removed the actor from the indicative list of male hopefuls, for its 48th ceremony.
The case also landed at a time when training centers for film professions are trying to raise awareness, not without difficulty, of students and teachers about sexist and sexual violence.
The Caesars in battle order
The previous César evening was presented by Antoine de Caunes, who held the helm and led the ceremony for almost four hours.
The ceremony was punctuated by a strong tribute to Jean-Paul Belmondo and Gaspard Ulliel, or even by the astonishing irruption on stage of Marie s'infiltrate, the time to declare her love for Louis Garrel and show her buttocks to the audience.

In 2020, the 45th Cesar ceremony was marked by a procession of indignant reactions, after Roman Polanski was awarded the “best director” prize for his film
J’accuse
.
"It's a shame", had launched the actress Adèle Haenel leaving the room with great noise, indignant by the statuette won by the director, who is accused of sexual assault and prosecuted by American justice.
Since this episode, the Academy has carried out major work to modernize its operation.
Formerly beaten for its too masculine composition, the Board of Directors of the institution has been reorganized to establish parity among its 60 elected officials.
The panel of more than 4,000 industry professionals has become younger and more feminized.
