, passed away last April after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
In the months that have passed since then, Maya has shared with her followers on social networks about the difficulty, grief and great sadness she has been dealing with since the unfortunate event.
Last night (Wed) she decided to share an exciting event that happened to her while she was walking in Central Park with her husband

"Father and I had an agreement, that if there is life after death, he would send me a sign. He laughed and waved at me and said, "What, like white butterflies?" Too much for cancer."

Maya went on to tell about the days before her father's death: "In our last days together he was unable to speak, so I made him a playlist with all the legendary artists he loved the most.

Last August, a few days after my father's birthday, Assaf Asia and I were walking in Central Park and when it got dark I realized that we had to go home, but we kept circling around strangely nappies (Dad was the one who taught about nappies). I told Asaf "I feel dad", and he, as usual, laughed at me.
Then suddenly in front of the eyes, a man in a gray sweatshirt with a hat takes an evening walk with his wife, in the middle of Central Park.
No one recognizes him, he is alone, everything is dark and what are the chances?
What are the chances that the legendary Paul Simon is taking an evening walk and I meet him like this by chance?

The excited Wertheimer turned to the legendary musician and asked for a picture.
He refused, but after she told him about her father he relented, agreed to take a picture and stopped to talk with the family members about music and Israel.
"You can philosophize about the matter, but I knew it was Dad - it was his sign. Not a banal sign, an exceptional sign that only he can think of."
