An online retailer brings his concept from Switzerland to Germany.
The company would like to establish itself in this country on the market.
Kassel - A large selection of offers, simply select the desired product, buy it with a click and have it delivered to your home.
Most of you already know this from the big online retailers like Amazon and Ebay.
However, a provider from Switzerland is now expanding its range in Germany and could challenge the top dogs for their ranks.
Galaxus is bringing a service to Germany that makes it the market leader in Switzerland.
In a message from Galaxus on its own website, the company announces that it also wants to establish its dealer program from Switzerland in Germany.
In the future, retailers will be able to sell their range under their own name and without a basic fee via the company.
The offer has been available in Switzerland since 2016. The company now works with 400 partners there, making it the largest online retailer in the country.

Competition for Amazon and Ebay: This is how the online retailer's new program works
The company also blames its dealer program for the great success in Switzerland.
According to Galaxus, more than five million products are offered there and almost half of them come from the partners via the marketplace.
They pay a commission to the company for each sale.
The dealers benefit from the cooperation thanks to the large reach of Galaxus.
The online retailer was able to expand its range in all categories from electronics to household goods.
This model is now also starting in Germany.
"Even in Germany, Galaxus has grown to a relevant size after only three years and we would therefore like to offer our dealer program to local partners as well," says Simon De Toffol, Business Engineer at Digitec Galaxus.
This distinguishes Galaxus from other online retailers such as Amazon and Ebay
The company attaches particular importance to one thing that distinguishes it from competitors such as Amazon and Ebay - the dealers from the new program are curated by the company: "Our dealers are handpicked and have to fit the Galaxus brand," explained De Toffol.
Galaxus is not a confusing collection exchange.
In addition, retailers would not have the opportunity to buy a place in the shop.
Instead, the company would focus on customer friendliness.

Even if the company is not nearly as well known in Germany as Amazon and Ebay, Galaxus has been able to record significant growth in recent years.
In 2021, sales of around 100 million euros were already achieved in Germany.
The company would like to expand further on the German market, which is why the logistics staff was doubled last year, and television advertising has also been running for a few months.
Other companies, such as the Scandinavian supermarket Oda, are also trying to conquer the German market.
