The blue Lisa Vittozzi won the individual in Ruhpolding (Germany), a round of the women's biathlon world cup.
It is the third career success for the Sappada woman and the third consecutive victory for an Italian in this race in the Bavarian town after the two previous successes of Dorothea Wierer, who finished in fourth place.
On the 15 km of the course, Vittozzi did not make a single shooting error, finishing with a time of 40'05''9, ahead of the French Lou Jeanmonnot by 39 seconds, also flawless at the shooting range, and by 45 seconds ahead of the other transalpine Julia Simon, world cup leader.
Wierer missed only one shot and finished in front of the Swedes Hanna and Elvira Oeberg, second in the general classification.
