More and more retailers are closing their branches.
This is not without consequences for many German inner cities.

Wave of bankruptcies in retail - top dogs like C&A and Primark are not spared and close branches
There is similar bad news from fashion retailer C&A.
The company has over 400 locations in Germany, 100 of them in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Closures in Kiel, Rendsburg and Elmshorn should be specific.
It is still unclear whether more will be added.
The lights went out at 13 C&A branches last year.
Now the discount fashion retailer Primark is just around the corner with gloomy prospects.
Two of the 32 branches are closing safely.
