A journalism award to promote the issues of disability, social inclusion and accessibility.
On the initiative of the CPD (Consultation for people in difficulty) was born on 3 December - Paolo Osiride Ferrero', in collaboration with the Master in Journalism 'Giorgio Bocca' of the University of Turin and with the patronage of the Order of Journalists of Piedmont , the City of Turin, the Piedmont Region and the media partnership of the ANSA agency.
Osiride Ferrero, who died in July 2017, was secretary and president of the CPD for twenty years and coordinated the network of Turin associations committed to helping disabled people for a long time.
It is possible to compete for three categories: the 3 December - Paolo Osiride Ferrero Award is intended for the best article (print or online), journalistic service, in-depth investigation, radio, television or online programme, photographic reportage;
the special mention 'Angelo Burzi Association', to the best literary and storytelling work;
the special mention in partnership with AccessiWay (start-up specialized in breaking down digital barriers) to the best web and social content.
The jury is chaired by Luigi Contu, director of ANSA, and coordinated by Fabrizio Vespa;
it is supported by a Technical-Scientific Committee which includes personalities from the cultural and social fields.
The deadline for the delivery of the works is 30 March 2023, the award ceremony will be held in Turin on 6 June 2023.
