(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 12 - "We are enormously sorry" that "the distributors have announced a two-day strike on the 25th and 26th because, they say, the state blames the petrol stations for the increase in petrol" but "the measures that the government has set up are against speculative phenomena and therefore to protect distributors".
Thus, interviewed by telephone, the undersecretary of the presidency with responsibility for the implementation of the programme, Giovanbattista Fazzolari.
"Petrol is not at 2 and a half euros, in normal distributors it is around 1.8 euros, the measures are all aimed at curbing those who engage in speculative phenomena. We have imagined them as a protection" of the distributors.
