(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 12 - A very warm meeting lasting almost an hour between the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri and Pope Francis.
First of all, the mayor illustrated to the Pope the dpcm for the release and implementation of the works of the Jubilee.
Furthermore, according to what has been learned, they spoke of peace, social policies, environmental challenges, decarbonization, the economy, and Gualtieri then told the Pope about the summit of world mayors in Buenos Aires, which took place in recent months.
The Pope reportedly described the capital as a unique and wonderful city and expressed hope and encouragement for Rome.
"It was a beautiful and touching meeting. A private meeting where we talked about many things.
