(ANSA) - ROME, 12 JAN - On the alleged cartel in Sicily "Ryanair does not speak to the other companies, it is not committed to making cartels with others, on the contrary we are committed to increasing our market share".
This was stated by the managing director of the Ryanair group, Michael O'Leary, during the presentation of the summer program on the Antitrust investigation.
"Yes, prices are higher at Christmas than in January and February" but "Ryanair was the one who added 51 extra flights for this Christmas in Sicily with over 2500 more seats. And this is demonstrated by our market share, which has increased from 25 to 40% while the others continue to reduce their market share", it was explained during the presentation.
