Bianca Balti, fleeting love and drugs, my daughter chose her father - Lifestyle

 A painful moment in the life of Bianca Balti, the model who in December underwent a preventive double mastectomy to reduce the risk of getting breast cancer after discovering she was a carrier of the BRCA1 gene mutation, which predisposes to development of this type of cancer.

    The 38-year-old guest model of Luca Casadei's podcast "One More Time" talks about her life, from the unruly years based on fleeting love affairs, drugs and parties, to the two divorces ("I pay alimony to my exes, but that's right ») and when the eldest daughter, Matilde, chose to live with her father because she led a too wild life.

"It was a dysfunctional life, I wasn't happy, but I'm only realizing it now."

She was very young when she left Lodi to move to Milan and pursue her dream of making it as a model.

She then met her with assistant photographer Christian Lucidi.

"I get pregnant after only three weeks. After a month she asks me to marry him."

"I lived everything hand to mouth, I decided to be a mother and a wife after a year and a half from the beginning of my career. A crazy thing"

confides Bianca Balti in the podcast.

They move to New York, and Matilde, now 16, is born from the relationship.

However, their love does not last: "I got carried away by enthusiasm".

She and her daughter return to Italy: "I'm starting over with the holidays. I left my daughter with my grandparents, in Lodi, and I went from man to man through drugs".

After three years Balti realizes that that was not the life she had in mind, so she moves to Marbella, Spain, with Matilde.

There she meets the American Matthew McRae, who would soon become her second husband.

They decide to restart a life together in the US, but the road is uphill even though she had given up on drugs for three years.

"I ask permission from the Spanish court to take my daughter with me to America, but they refuse it. My lawyer tells me '

Look, they'll ask her where she wants to live, if with you or with her father.'

So I ask her and she replies 'With my dad'". "One of the worst moments of my life". Even with my second husband it ends badly. Only after so much suffering did she finally manage to find her balance. (ANSA).
