Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley (1935 to 1977), is receiving medical treatment after an emergency.
"My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was taken to the hospital as soon as possible," said Priscilla Presley, 77, the mother of the 54-year-old singer, on Facebook and according to "People.com".
She did not provide any further information about the incident.
According to US media reports, Lisa Marie Presley may have suffered cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.
Paramedics carried out resuscitation, wrote the celebrity portal »TMZ.com«.
At the request of the German Press Agency, the sheriff's office in the Los Angeles district confirmed that a corresponding emergency call had been received from Calabasas on Thursday morning (local time).
Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley attended the Golden Globe Gala together in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, where actor Austin Butler won the Globe for Best Actor in Drama for his leading role in the biopic »Elvis«.
The quadruple divorced singer Lisa Marie Presley has 14-year-old twin daughters and an adult daughter, actress Riley Keough, 33. Their son Benjamin Keough died in 2020 at the age of 27.
