Nobody believes that a dog hits a car with a golf cart.

How good that a surveillance camera provides the evidence.

Practicing finding excuses often starts in school.

One or the other teacher will have already experienced how a student confesses in the morning that the homework is not there because the dog shredded the exercise book.

Our dear pets are often made the scapegoat despite their innocence - but that's not always the case.

Because here a video recording unmasks the dog as the perpetrator.

Dog drives a golf cart into a parked car: "Explain that to the insurance company"

"Someone hit my car with a golf cart so I checked the camera footage..." reads the video, which

posted on TikTok.

The car owner sees something in the recordings that nobody would probably believe without proof.

And he himself, probably not either.

One TikTok user asks, "How long do you think he yelled at his kids before he said, 'Well nobody wants to confess!

I'll check the cameras!'” You can read tips on how to drive with a dog here.

The records provide information: The dog is the culprit.

In it you can see exactly how the four-legged friend strolls in the direction of the golf cart and makes himself comfortable in the footwell of the small vehicle.

And the strange story takes its course.

The video has already been viewed more than 21 million times on TikTok and has received over 2.7 million likes.

Dog drives golf cart into parked car: Was it an accident?

The dog has apparently taken a seat in the footwell in the middle of the gas pedal.

The golf cart races away with the four-legged friend.

After a perfect right turn around a bench, the path leads head-on to the parked car.

The odyssey comes to an abrupt end and the four-legged friend calmly leaves his driver's seat.

But was that by accident?

"The way the dog gets out of the golf cart makes it seem like it was intentional," one user commented on the clip.

Another writes: "Explain that to the insurance company." And yes, it's easy to imagine that whoever the car owner tells this story to thinks it's all a very creative excuse.

Except that in this case it's actually true.

Countless other users celebrate the proof clip in over 11,000 comments.
