Jack Nicholson has closed himself off from the world and the three-times Oscar-winning actor's friends fear he will end up like Marlon Brando.
"He will die alone", insiders confided to RadarOnline, noting that the 85-year-old star of The Shining, Someone Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Something Has Changed has been seen in public for more than a year.
The last time Nicholson was photographed among people was in October 2021 when he accompanied his son Ray, born 30 years ago from his relationship with Rebecca Broussard, to a basketball game.
The Mullholland Drive community in Los Angeles is very united and everyone is worried: "Jack doesn't go out anymore".
Physically he's fine, but "his brain is gone",
a source said, listing possible dementia among the concerns.
Nicholson last starred in 2011's rom-com How Do You Know starring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson.
