After the passage of two fast perturbations the weather will improve almost everywhere with a prevalence of sunshine and attenuation of the Mistral winds.
Antonio Sanò, director and founder of the site www.iLMeteo.it, confirms an improvement after three days characterized by Foehn and Mistral winds and sea storms, and however indicates in number 15 the date of the winter turning point:
from Sunday the polar air will drop from North Sea and will begin to change the fate of this dull and monotonous winter

In 48 hours Winter will enter Italy and we will be able to witness at least a week of important weather phenomena: a lot of snow is expected in the Apennines, abundant rains on the Tyrrhenian side, winds reinforcing again and widespread thermal decrease.
It all stems from the movement of the Azores anticyclone westward and then northward: in practice, its center of gravity will retreat towards its place of origin, the Azores Islands, and then, from the middle of next week, towards the British Isles.
If this northward shift is confirmed, we will be able to have the right conditions for the arrival of arctic air from Siberia on the weekend of January 21-22.
But this is fantasy weather, let's stay in the present day and outline well what will happen in the next few hours.
The shifting of low pressure towards Greece will favor an improvement also in the extreme south after the storms, the snowfalls in the Apennines and the strong Mistral winds.
The arrival of wetter currents will still bring some clouds today on the Tyrrhenian side and on the Aosta Valley.
On the other hand , the sun will prevail on Saturday waiting for a sudden change

In fact, on Sunday 15 January, from the morning, we will find rain in the North-West and between Tuscany and Lazio, then in the second part of the day the worsening will also affect the North-East with snowfalls above 500 meters in the Alps. In the Apennines, the altitude snow will still be medium-high but significantly decreasing in the new week.
The new week could be decidedly eventful: it is a trend, but at the moment rainfall is expected on Monday in the Triveneto and from Tuscany to Calabria;
from Tuesday to Thursday the bad weather will intensify further with widespread rainfall over most of the country and especially towards Lazio, Campania and Calabria.
It is important to underline the snow level, which in all these regions is expected at hilly levels, above 500-600 meters we will be able to find flakes from the Alps to Sicily;
in the North and in Tuscany the snow will touch the plains and, if the arctic invasion of the weekend 21-22 is confirmed, the beaches will turn white and the weather numbers typical of the Buriana, of the arrival of Siberian air on our country.

In the centre: cloudy sky especially on the Tyrrhenian coast.
In the South: irregular clouds at times compact in Campania.
Saturday 14: in the North, partly cloudy skies with possible fog.
In the centre: prevailing good weather, clouds towards Tuscany in the evening.
In the south: variable with some rain in southern Puglia and Calabria.
Sunday 15th: in the North, worse in the evening in the Northeast.
In the centre: rainfall from upper Tuscany towards the rest of the region.
In the south: partly cloudy skies.
