The map of the hydrogeological situation bulletin published this Friday by the BRGM (Bureau of Geological and Mining Research) clearly announces the color: the water tables in France show levels "of concern over a large part of the territory", with the exception of however from the Brittany and Alsace regions.
More than three-quarters of the groundwater levels remain below monthly normals, with many sectors showing low to very low levels.
