The 38-year-old singer Katy Perry was a guest on the »Goop« podcast by US actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
There, the two exchanged ideas about spirituality, relationships and therapy.
And: about children.
Paltrow, 50, said she looked at data on parents with younger children.
Laughing, she stated, "It just ruins the relationship," adding, "It's really hard."
Even if she would like to take back the word »ruin« in the context afterwards.
Katy Perry added, "If both of you in the relationship are willing to do the work, then it's so much easier."
However, when a person assumes they don't have a job, it's very challenging.
The singer is dating British actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she has a daughter named Daisy Dove, who was born in 2020.
"Co-parenting," meaning bringing up the children together with your ex-partner, is also really difficult, says Paltrow.
Paltrow has two children with her ex-husband Chris Martin, lead singer of the British band Coldplay.
Her daughter is 18 years old and her son Moses is 16.
