Two interviews between British YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg and Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield have gone viral on the internet.
The reason: the chemistry between the two.
They met in November when the 28-year-old interviewed the actor at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
She is best known for her format "Chicken Shop Date", where she meets celebrities in fast food restaurants.
"I think you're great," Garfield, 39, told her on the red carpet in November.
"What?!" she replies, dumbfounded.
"Yes, I think you're great," he affirms.
"Do you know who I am?" Dimoldenberg wants to know.
But he knows exactly who she is because he knows her »chicken shop dates«.
That fits: She's been trying to get a "date" with him for quite a while, she says.
And ask him about it.
But is it about her show or a real date?
That remains unclear.
"You date a lot of people," he replies, laughing.
"It makes me feel less special."
She counters: »You are the most special!«.
She finds his armpits particularly special, she says.
A nod to a »GQ« photo shoot where his armpits are very prominent in places.
The two met again at this year's Golden Globes.
"We have to stop meeting like this!" she says to him.
"I always want to see you," he replies.
»What?!«, she replies in astonishment.
He laughs nervously as he hugs her hand and the microphone.
He hasn't finished the sentence yet.
»I only ever want to see you in such situations!« it should say.
And what about other situations?
He's not interested in that, says Garfield.
But she even wanted to invite him to her birthday party, says Dimoldenberg.
And so the banter goes on.
Users on the Internet see a connection between the two, "he doesn't want a 'chicken date', he wants a real date," writes one user.
Another user wrote: "Is this ... the best romantic comedy of the year?"
The 28-year-old YouTuber also gained notoriety through a "date" that she had with journalist Louis Theroux in February 2022.
There he rapped – the clip went through the roof.
This led to the song »Jiggle Jiggle«, which was also very successful.
