"The dumbest, but best tip ever": That's what a fitness coach calls his shelf advice for Kaufland and Rewe customers.

But not everyone likes it.

Ulm – He was apparently surprised himself by the reactions: A Twitter user with around 19,000 followers who, according to his own statements and those of the linked homepage at Ulm, works as a fitness and nutritionist, wanted to give the world public a well-intentioned tip.

In doing so, he created a great deal of turbulence and headwind.

And even felt compelled to make some sort of clarification.

"Go to this shelf at Kaufland or Rewe"

The Twitter user wrote on Friday (January 13th): "The dumbest but best tip ever: go to this shelf at Kaufland or Rewe.

You have hundreds of recipes that you can cook in one go.” The photo also shows the well-known Fix bags from a brand manufacturer in a Kaufland branch.

He adds: "And with every spice mixture there is a step-by-step recipe on the back + the foods that you also need, such as cream, vegetables, meat, etc."

Not everyone can make friends with his Regal advice.

"Unfortunately all unhealthy chemical shit... Better invest a few more minutes and chop fresh vegetables," says one - the fitness coach responds with a list of ingredients and asks for reasons as to which of them should be included.

Another person says: "Then cook yourself anyway.

One should support Nestlé as little as possible” and gets approval from the fitness advisor.

Many are discussing, sometimes only with half-knowledge, what is in the Fix products and whether they are unhealthy or not.

Fixed shelves at Kaufland, Rewe & Co.: Many only take them as a source of inspiration

But maybe the posting should not just represent praise or even advertising for these bags.

Instead, highlight those as a source of ideas.

This is how various other users see them:

  • "In fact, I do it quite often.

I go, see what I like today, and then look at the ingredient list and buy those ingredients to cook the dish I want myself.

I only use the spice mixtures as a source of ideas.”

  • "Tip is good, but unfortunately you forgot the last action, then go get all the ingredients, put the bag back!

    And then cook.”

  • "Always look for inspiration and then buy everything to do it yourself without any fixes."

  • "Better yet, walk over there, take a look and then just cook the things you would like to cook without ready-made powder."

  • "Go to this shelf.

Get me a recipe and prepare it fresh.

    Thanks."

  • "I like to take that as inspiration, but I don't use these products for that."

  • “For collecting ideas about what to cook, great.

    But I don't use them.

I have never been satisfied with these things and have preferred to use my own recipes or recipes from the internet.”

In the end, opinions differ as to whether Fix bags are a great invention or despicable.

And after he was surprised by the headwind, the coach came along with another Twitter posting about 19 hours after the Rewe/Kaufland tip.

"Take it as inspiration.

Always cook fresh yourself.

If you don't have time, grab the fix products before you dig into frozen foods.

Some pretend they'll die if they use a spice mix once," he writes.

There are no two opinions that a customer's Lidl discovery is not intended for consumption.
