MontanaBlack has complained about Twitch in the past.

Now the streamer seems to have a channel on Kick – is the change coming soon?

Buxtehude – MontanaBlack can hardly be imagined without Twitch.

But after the change of other streamers, there are now rumors about a change from Marcel Eris.

He has grumbled about Amazon's platform in the past and now has a verified account on Kick - a new streaming competition.

Will MontanaBlack leave Twitch and stream on Kick soon?

What happened?

MontanaBlack could leave Twitch.

His streamer colleagues Orangemorange and Scurrows switched from Twitch to Kick, which gave many German streaming fans a look at the new platform.

If you search for MontanaBlack on the competing platform, you will find a verified account of the twitch streamer.

So far, however, only his usual profile picture and the saying: "

" can be found on MontanaBlack's kick channel.

What is Kick?

Kick is a new streaming alternative to Twitch that offers more relaxed rules and a bigger share for streamers.

The site is structured exactly like Twitch – and really exactly like that.

The only difference is that the accent color is green, not purple.

Gambling can be broadcast on Kick without any problems and the creators should get more support from the platform.

Partner channels on Kick are marked with a green tick.

When we asked Kick, the in-game editors confirmed that it was not possible to fake the green tick.

So it's safe to assume that the channel really does belong to MontanaBlack.

For verification, you must have at least 10,000 followers on Twitch, Twitter or Instagram and report to Kick's partner service. 

Is MontanaBlack leaving Twitch?

So far it is unclear whether the streamer from Buxtehude is thinking about a change.

MontanaBlack responded to the Twitch gambling ban with solidarity for its casino colleagues.

Even as a fan of the spinning reels, it's not impossible that MontanaBlack could switch to Kick at least for new slot streams.

Orangemorange also noticed MontanaBlack's channel on Kick and shared his find on Twitter.

The tweet has since been deleted - so one can assume that Orangemorange MontanaBlack didn't want to take the wind out of a possible announcement of the change.

Whether his casino colleagues know more about it cannot be said.

New casino competition lures with more money

This could lure MontanaBlack:

On Kick, streamers receive 95 percent of the money that is earned through subscriptions.

That's far more than the 50 percent that Twitch offers.

With such a generous revenue share, Kick could also be of interest to MontanaBlack.

Orangemorange and Scurrows announced that they would start testing on Kick for the next six months and return to Twitch if in doubt.

This is how MontanaBlack could make his change.

In the past, MontanaBlack has complained about Twitch.

Big creators get too little support and the platform is very vague when it comes to enforcing its rules.

Kick would probably welcome one of the biggest Twitch streamers in Germany with open arms.

Time will tell whether the advantages of the smaller platform will tempt him.
