Retirees try to increase their pension in old age.
Several grants are suitable for this.
Working while receiving your pension can also increase it.
Anyone who is not able to do this must look for alternatives and save in a few places instead of increasing their pension.
That's what the BahnCard is for at Deutsche Bahn.
With the BahnCard you can save 25, 50 or even 100 percent of the cost of a train journey.
Pensioners have to pay even less for the BahnCard - so you can save.
Pensioners get some discounts from Deutsche Bahn – that’s how cheap the BahnCard for pensioners is.

Trains that can be used with this discount are all ICE, IC/EC, ÖBB Nightjet trains and local trains, including S-Bahn trains.
