A large part of
Mendoza and San Juan
are under a yellow alert for storms this Sunday and in several locations in the
AMBA, the center of the province of Buenos Aires and Córdoba,
there is a warning for high temperatures that could reach maximums of 35 degrees, reported the National Meteorological Service (SMN).
Almost the entire Mendoza territory, with the exception of the Andean area, will be affected by
storms of varying intensity
, some locally strong, which may be accompanied by strong gusts, hail, significant electrical activity, and abundant rainfall in short periods.
The same meteorological conditions are forecast for the center and south of San Juan, where accumulated precipitation values between
10 and 25 millimeters
are expected , which may be exceeded locally, according to the report of the meteorological agency.
Meanwhile, the SMN ordered a
yellow alert
for heat in La Plata, the suburbs and several towns in the center and north of the province where maximum temperatures will range between 33 and 35 degrees.
In Córdoba, there is also a warning for high temperatures for almost the entire province, including the capital where thermometers will mark 33 degrees.
The yellow alert level indicates that the expected temperatures may have a mild to moderate effect on health, but may become dangerous for risk groups, such as boys and girls, and people over 65 years of age, with chronic diseases.
The weather for the city
Summer Sunday day for the City with a maximum temperature of 32° that will occur after noon.
There will initially be wind from the North sector with rotation in the afternoon-night towards the East.
