The nominee for "Glass Shadow: The Mystery of the Knives", conquered the red carpet in a custom-made black silk chiffon dress designed by Vera Wong Haute Couture.

The dress boasted a turtleneck, plays of sheerness and gathers throughout, combined with crazy cut-outs strategically placed above her thighs, which created some wonderful drama.

The 37-year-old Mona was also honored at the ceremony when she won the SeeHer award, which is awarded annually to a person who "advocates for gender equality, portrays characters with authenticity, opposes stereotypes and breaks boundaries."

Hairstylist Nikki Helms created a gorgeous hair moment for the actress, with strands that she wove into the tight braids on her head.

The bling was sponsored by Messika.

Even a solid block and not very glam, Cate Blanchett conquers the red carpet (Photo: GettyImages, David Livingston/Getty Images)

The 53-year-old Cate Blanchett

went for a palette of colors and a neutral vibe, in a stone-colored set designed by Max Mara from the Spring-Summer 2023 Ready To Wear collection.

Blanchett, who was nominated for Best Actress for her work in the musical drama "Tar," wore a button-down shirt tucked into a matching maxi skirt that created a mermaid-like silhouette and featured a frayed hemline that gave the performance an "unfinished" vibe and, of course, didn't try too hard — and for exactly the reasons This performance is excellent!

Elle Fanning channels an Irish princess in a crazy Alexander McQueen dress (Photo: GettyImages, Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

She wasn't nominated for an award, but that didn't stop Elle

Fanning

from showing up to the Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles dressed to win!

Fanning wore a sculpted strapless dress made of cream tulle designed by Sarah Burton, the creative director of the Alexander McQueen fashion house.

With Samantha McMillan on the styling, it looked like the 24-year-old actress was channeling her regal persona on screen in The Great Gatsby.

Exuding an Irish vibe, the dress featured a strapless bodice with a slightly deconstructed look combined with cutouts, and a hoop skirt with layers of lace that spilled to her ankles.

The look was completed with golden stilettos and jewelry by Irene Neuwirth.

All eyes were on her!

When

Lily James

appeared on the red carpet in a sheer princess dress, but with an edgy twist, by Oscar de la Renta.

33-year-old James also opted for the see-through trend for the glitzy evening, slipping into a strapless, ankle-length striped dress with a gorgeous voluminous skirt.

Her hair is gathered into a bun with deliberate carelessness, and precise bangs that frame her face just right.

She accessorized the look with De Beers diamond jewelry, and sexy platform sandals.

The presenter of the award,

Kerry Washington

(45), put on a heartwarming spring look sponsored by Armani Couture from the spring-summer 2022 collection. This is a spectacular silver strapless dress in an hourglass silhouette, with a feminine sexy key, and decorated with crystal and sequin embroidery that combines pink and light blue.

When it comes to the red carpet, Washington never disappoints, and this time she even surprised by choosing to go for a super feminine and romantic look.

The star completed the beautiful look with jewelry by Bulgari, and platform sandals with a white buckle by Santoni.

Niv Sultan

, the international actress and candidate for the foreign series of the year award with the hit series "Tehran" of Khan 11, made us happy on the red carpet of the ceremony in a special block chosen for her by the fashion house Saint Laurent.

The 30-year-old actress wore Look No. 10 as presented on the Saint Laurent spring-summer 2023 runway at the recent Paris Fashion Week - a collection entirely inspired by the mid-1980s when Monsieur Saint Laurent's models at the time walked in both elegant and powerful hooded gowns, as did Sultan!

The styling and beauty remained clean and minimalist, and rightly so.

The acclaimed actress wore a spectacular Yvonne Leon ring.

Like a mesmerizing doll: Anya Taylor-Joy wears Dior Haute Couture (Photo: TPS, Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

Lily James

wasn't the only actress to choose a princess-something dress for the Critics' Choice Awards night.

Presenter Anya Taylor-Joy stunned in a "nude" dress by Dior Haute Couture, with gemstone decorations and diamond jewelry with more than 25 carats from the luxury jewelry brand Tiffany.

Taylor-Joy, 26, gave a cheeky glimpse of her panties peeking out from under the delicate dress, which was ankle-length and showcased Jimmy Choo embellished silver heeled sandals.

Her golden tresses were styled in a dramatic bun, and makeup artist Georgie Eisdal used Dior Beauty products on her face, maintaining a subtle and radiant look.

Kate Hudson is more radiant than ever in Oscar de la Renta (Photo: GettyImages, Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

Kate Hudson

continues her streak of impressive appearances on pure glam.

The 43-year-old actress and presenter of the award at the ceremony wore a metallic dress with a floral appliqué designed by the Oscar de la Renta fashion house, with the transparent motif also standing out.

Hudson completed the gorgeous look with Christian Louboutin peep-toe sandals and Bulgari jewelry.

Julia Roberts: We expected more from her!

And still looked more elegant than ever in Schiaparelli (Photo: GettyImages, Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

It's a little hard for us to point this out, but

Julia Roberts

missed a bit tonight and more in Schiaparelli no less!

Even more interesting is that Elizabeth Stewart, the same stylist who dressed the highly rated Cate Blanchett, is also responsible for this slightly heavenly look for Roberts.

The 55-year-old megastar wore a black maxi dress embellished with gold and gold on the top and with long sleeves, by the coveted Italian fashion house.

Roberts completed the elegant appearance with Roger Vivier heels, a Tyler Ellis bag and Chopard jewelry.
