(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 16 - Avatar: The Water Way continues to break records.
The sequel to the feature film by James Cameron, winner of three Academy Awards, brings its total takings to over 40 million euros in 5 weeks with over 4.5 million viewers and enters the ranking of the 10 best box office of all time in Italy.
Avatar in particular this last weekend, albeit down by 56%, grossed 2 million 191 thousand euros, maintaining an average of 4,958 euros on 442 screens.
Riccardo Milani's Grazie Ragazzi debuts in second place with Antonio Albanese, Sonia Bergamasco and Vinicio Marchioni: the collection is 776 thousand euros with an average cinema of 1,740 out of 445.
Third down by one position is the other Italian film Tre di troppo with Fabio De Luigi and Virginia Raffaele which earns 640 thousand euros with an average US$1,342 in 477 theaters reaching a total of 3 million 885 thousand in 21 days.
Overall, the Italian box office reached 6,690,264 euros for 891,328 admissions, down 45% compared to last week but showing stratospheric growth (+104%) over 2022. (ANSA).
