(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 16 - "The objective" of EU action on gas "is to publish aggregate demand to attract supply offers in early spring, followed by the first joint purchases well before the summer".
This was indicated by the vice president of the European Commission, Maros Sefcovic, at the end of the first formal meeting of the board of the EU energy platform with the representatives of the 27 member states.
“We are working on a tight schedule to prepare in time for the upcoming winter and stock-filling season,” Sefcovic stressed.
