One was a powerful president of the Berlin Hells Angels group MC Nomads until the other took over.
After that, one of the two almost didn't survive the struggle for power in the Berlin charter.
Andrè Sommer was struck down by seven shots in one night in June 2012.
The Hells Angels president was on his way from his Germanenhof pub to his Harley.
A bullet just missed his heart and lodged in his spine.
One missed the aorta and three bullets went through the arm.
Miraculously, Sommer survived the attempt on his life.
The client later admits in court that he had put a certain “Russian Micha” on André Sommer.
It is Sommer's predecessor: Holger Bossen, nickname "Hocko".
He allegedly reached into the club's coffers and is said to have harassed his subordinates.
So he was replaced by André Sommer.
Thomas Heise and Claas Meyer-Heuer followed the argument between the two angels of hell.
In the ninth episode of our crime podcast "Im Verhör: Inside Hells Angels" with Christina Pohl, they explain why André Sommer has not yet made any official statement against "Hocko".
The two SPIEGEL TV reporters interviewed Sommer again and again, but to this day he is as silent as the grave about the attempt on his life.
