tourism industry continues to recover
.
In 2022, 56.4 million travelers visited the city, a figure that represents an increase of 71.4% compared to 2021 (47.4 million nationals and 8.9 million internationals).
This marks the return of 85% of the 2019 record number of visits to the city.
Thus, New York remains on track to attract 61.7 million visitors in 2023.
