(ANSA) - ANCONA, 17 JAN - "Alliances? There are no preclusions for anyone but I want the Democratic Party to rediscover its majority vocation".
Thus the candidate for the dem secretariat, Stefano Bonaccini, president of Emilia Romagna, speaking in Ancona in the reduced room of the Teatro delle Muse during his tour which today also visited Muccia (Macerata) and Jesi (Ancona).
"Alliances are indispensable - he added - but if you want to do them well, a force like the Democratic Party must do them in a position of strength and not of subordination towards anyone".
"Alliances shouldn't be made just to beat your opponents - he specified - but to make plans".
For his run for the secretariat, Bonaccini chose the motto "popular energy": "it will take a lot of energy", he continued about the path to relaunch the party, to make what could be "a crossing in the desert".
"I've always envied the right - he joked -: if he does one thing right or wrong, he talks about the good thing he's done. With us, on the other hand, it's the opposite while the Cinquestelle always do well. There's a need for fresh wind".
"Third pole and M5s have lost elections like us, they have not won them. - He reiterated - if they had more opposition to the Meloni government and less to the Democratic Party".
The candidate for the dem secretariat also spoke of "work" which "is the country's main priority, we need stable work to cost less than precarious work".
"Because we would go in two directions that would give positive answers: - he explained - one, to too many people who have too many employment contracts that don't give prospects for the future, too precarious; the other, if you make stable work cost less than precarious work, you would also allow entrepreneurs to be able to bet on hiring and also have a tax benefit".
