Mark Cavendish doesn't get off his bike and, at the age of 37, has signed a 12-month contract with Astana.
The announcement was made by the team in whose jersey the British sprinter will attempt to break the record for Tour de France stage wins, which he currently holds, with 34, alongside 'Cannibal' Eddy Merckx.
He is also stimulated by the fact that the 2023 Tour features various fractions which, on paper, are in favor of sprinters.

Cavendish, 2011 road world champion, said he was "excited about this new adventure. I've been racing with Alexandr Vinokurov for many years and now I'm racing with his two boys, it's really amazing.
