Davos: von der Leyen launches the green business plan

(ANSA) - DAVOS, 17 JAN - The EU must "carry out the transition towards zero emissions without creating new dependencies" and to do so "we have a plan. An industrial plan for the Green Deal".

    This was stated by the president of the European Commission, Ursulavon der Leyen at her 'special address' at the Davos Forum, explaining that, on a financial level, "state aid would be a limited solution": to avoid the fragmentation of the Single Market "we must increase EU funding" and "for the medium term we will prepare a European Sovereign Fund in the mid-term review of our budget in 2023".
