, runner-up in the world at Usa '94, recalls his ex-partner, and then uses strong words to talk about what happened when he played.
The former midfielder, who has been following a vegan diet for years, was very shocked by the recent deaths of some former colleagues.
"We should go back to what we took, to the substances we used in that period - Dino Baggio continues -. Doping has always existed. We need to understand if certain supplements are good for you or not over time, if the substances are able to throw them out or they stay in. I'm scared too, it's happening to too many players. In my years there was doping, and before it was even worse."
But then what could some deaths have depended on?
"I don't know if it's due to this, but there has always been doping - he continues -. They've never taken strange things, because there's a percentage you have to keep. Then many talked about the grass in the fields and of the products they were using that gave them problems. Things have changed now."
