(ANSA) - ROME, 17 JAN - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has set up a permanent mission at the Nuclear Power Plant in southern Ukraine: IAEA director general Rafael Grossi announced it.
"The IAEA flag is now flying over Pivdennoukrainsk (Southern Ukraine's Nuclear Power Plant). We are here to stay and help ensure nuclear safety," Grossi said in a tweet, adding: "Soon the IAEA will have a permanent presence in all nuclear power plants in Ukraine".
The plant is located approximately 250 km west of the Zaporizhzhia plant.
