Messages can not only be sent via iPhone via messengers such as WhatsApp, Signal or Telegram.
If you want it more discreet, you can use a pre-installed app.
Munich – exchange messages, but not via Messenger.
This is doable for iPhone users.
Many people know the big players among messenger services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal.
Many people are also familiar with sending messages via SMS or iMessage.
But the iPhone has some other features that many people don't know about.
Like this one: An app is pre-installed on the iPhone that users can use as a tool for sending messages discreetly.
Exchange messages on iPhone using the Notes app
If you want to exchange messages with your chat partner, you can easily use the notes app pre-installed on the iPhone, says macwelt.de as a tip for iPhone owners.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Open the Notes app on the iPhone.
Create a new note by tapping the corresponding icon with the note and pen in the lower right corner.
Name the note and tap Done.
Next, click the three-dot menu in the top right and share the note.
Now you have to choose the messenger through which the message from the note should be sent.
If you want, you can send via e-mail.
The other partner taps the shared iCloud note in Messenger.
This means that both chat partners have access to the notes.
If the note is sent as a link, the contact must first open the link in their browser and will then be taken to the Notes app.
In the app, the chat partners can read, edit or delete all messages in the shared note.
You can continue to exchange photos or build tables.
The big but of the matter: Normal notes can be blocked by users with a password.
This does not work with the shared note.
If a third person has access to the iPhone, it is of course possible to read the "secret" message.
