On vacation, employees should relax and not think about work.
To make this work, an Indian company has introduced a ban on contact on vacation.
Work takes up a large part of employees' lives.
Some can fulfill themselves in the job, others only work for the money.
However, what applies to almost everyone is that they only have to be available for work during working hours.
This was only recently confirmed by a German labor court.
Holidays are also used for relaxation, but can everyone switch off at the beach or in the mountains and forget about work?

The Indian company Dream11 wants to protect employees who are on vacation - also from themselves. Therefore there is an "unplug" policy in the company - during this time employees have no access to company data and communication channels, such as US -American broadcaster
CNBC
reports.
The expulsion from the system should apply for a week.
Anyone who turns to an employee during this time must pay a fine of around 1,100 euros.

Contact on vacation: This applies to employees in Germany
You are on vacation and want to enjoy it, you can do that with a clear conscience, because you should relax on an approved vacation.
Your employer can email you or call you on the company phone, but superiors shouldn't expect you to respond when you're on vacation.
Your holiday is secured in the Federal Holidays Act (BUrlG), which states that you have an annual right to holiday leave.
During this time, the obligation to perform the contractually agreed work is suspended, the
German Trade Union Confederation (DGB)
informs .
If you send emails or make phone calls while on vacation on the instructions of a supervisor, this is considered working time that must be remunerated, reports the
DGB
.
Holidays can also be made up accordingly.
