(ANSA) - ROME, 17 JAN - "Pending the Government's assessments, the strike scheduled for 25 and 26 January is confirmed. To bring out the seriousness and competence required, there is time until the minute before the plants close".
This was stated in a joint statement by Fegica and Figisc/Anisa after the meeting with the government.
"Even today - the organizations write - the Government has not been able or willing to assume the responsibility of making concrete commitments on issues that can also directly affect fuel prices. Obviously imagining that it can continue to deceive motorists by throwing the cross at petrol stations. The bad judgment on the decree, botched and ineffective, which will need to be heavily modified during conversion, we have proposed to the Government to assume certain initiatives, all inspired by the recovery of full legality in the sector and the restoration of a certain regulatory system, with the aim of adapting efficiency and service standards offered to Italian motorists and to obtain fair and stable fuel prices".
