(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 17 - Former MEP Antonio Panzeri has repented and signed an agreement with the Belgian federal prosecutor which provides for "imprisonment, a fine and the confiscation of all assets acquired so far, currently estimated at one million euros" .
The same prosecutor reports it.
Panzeri, he would have confessed to the Belgian justice that he had paid a sum between 120 thousand and 140 thousand euros in installments to his socialist colleague Marc Tarabella: the admission would have been recorded in the minutes by the former Article 1 MEP on 10 December.
