The yucca palm is one of the most popular indoor plants.
Yellow leaves are an indication of too much moisture.
The palm lily, also known as yucca, does not belong to the palm tree family, but to the asparagus family.
The plant, which comes from Central America, is considered to be particularly easy to care for and is therefore often kept as a houseplant.
It is better to water them too little than too often.

Between August and September, when the plant is fully grown and given the best possible care, it even produces a pretty, white flower with a scent reminiscent of jasmine.
Don't be surprised if this only happens after about ten years, as garden shop
Lubera
knows.
The deserts and semi-deserts of Texas, Arizona, Mexico and southern Central America are home to the plant with over 30 species - so it's no wonder that the plant prefers a drier substrate.
Note the following points about the yucca palm:
In the summer, you should water the yucca palms once a week or every ten days.
In winter, the plant needs even less water.
A little water every two weeks is enough.
However, if your home is heated a lot, a little more water may be needed - then water about as often as during the growing season.
Avoid waterlogging of the yucca palm!
