The legal and media battle continues between Illan Castronovo and Alix Desmoineaux.

This Wednesday, before the Marseille criminal court, the ex-reality TV candidate demanded the conviction of the influencer, whom he is suing for defamation, public insult, harassment and slanderous denunciation.

Also a former candidate, Alix Desmoineaux is often presented as "the ambassador of #metoo reality TV", and has indirectly accused him of sexual assault.

"Friends, I'm coming out of court, it did me a lot of good to be able to talk about it in court," he says after being heard, on the

story

of his Instagram account.

During the hearing, the former "Marseillais" and "Princes and Princesses of Love", said he had "lost everything", "my honor, my job".

Still on Instagram, Illan adds: "Alix didn't come, I thought she held all of this a little more to heart because she was the one who created all of this, who partly broke my life.

“To come and talk on social networks, you were strong.

And to come and explain to the magistrates… well, I came alone,” he finally said.

A judicial investigation opened in December following complaints of rape

We have to go back to November 2021 to retrace the thread of this judicial soap opera.

On the eve of the publication of his book, Alix Desmoineaux had claimed on the Melty site to have watched a video in which a reality TV actor allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman initially presented as a minor.

The next day, on Cyril Hanouna's "Touche pas à mon poste" program on C8, she returned to the subject, again without quoting Illan Castronovo.

But social networks had identified and denounced him.

"She described me so much in her interview that there was no need to give my name," Illan Castronovo told court on Wednesday, strapped in a three-piece suit.

Following these accusations, the 29-year-old reality TV actor would have been the target of insults on social networks and he would even have been attacked in the street, in Lyon, where he lived, pleaded his lawyer, Me Samuel Chicha.

Alix Desmoineaux did “at no time expressly target Illan Castronovo in his interviews”, retorted Me Arié Alimi, the influencer’s lawyer: “There are a lot of reality TV candidates, he felt targeted.

Why ?

Only he knows, even if I have a small idea”.

And Me Alimi to mention the opening of a judicial investigation against X in December 2022 in Blois, following complaints of rape under GHB of two young women, complaints in which the name of Mr. Castronovo would appear.

10,000 euros in compensation for non-pecuniary damage

“My client has never been heard in this case,” insisted Me Chicha, recalling that previous complaints would have been dismissed: “The media court has already condemned him, but here we are in real life, not on Instagram”.

Illan Castronovo is claiming 705,000 euros in damages, i.e. the amount of the TV services he would have been forced to cancel after his media questioning, as well as 10,000 euros in compensation for moral damage.

For her part, the influencer is claiming 2,000 euros in damages for “abuse of civil action”, as well as reimbursement of the fees paid to her lawyer.

After having pleaded the nullity of the citation of Illan Castronovo, "dilatory and badly done, like a bag of potatoes deposited in court", Me Alimi asked for the release of his client.

Judgment will be delivered on March 10.
