The food inspection found several defects at a branch of the discounter Netto.
This find causes disgust:
When shopping in a relaxed manner, we pay close attention to our goods.
Whether the quality is right, how long it will keep and whether the products or packaging have any defects.
When things get hectic, some of these points are easily forgotten and then the entire trust lies with the supermarket employees.
We trust that they regularly check and sort out the food.
But what was found at the discounter Netto in Heilbronn (Baden-Württemberg) quickly casts doubt on this trust.
Disgusting find at net: food control is unexpected
Many grocery stores advertise that their products are always fresh and subject to constant controls.
The consumer has to trust these promises from the advertisements and possibly even control the products that are bought.
So that the consumer is not alone in the end, grocery stores and restaurants receive regular surprise visits from food control inspectors.
These food control inspectors check whether everything is in order with the products and whether the supermarkets are complying with the specifications.
For many things, however, the supermarkets are not to blame.
Like callbacks.
A list shows all products with which there is a salmonella alarm.
However, what the inspectors from the veterinary and food monitoring department of the regulatory office find at a Netto branch in Heilbronn cannot be due to recalls.

Disgusting find at Netto: Self-service refrigerated counter is the scene of the crime
The inspectors of the food control found what they were looking for at the Netto branch in Heilbronn, reports HEIDELBERG24.
The aim of the control on St. Nicholas Day is the "self-service refrigerated counter".
What the inspectors find there triggers absolute disgust in every consumer.
The list of products that do not meet the standards is long.
Several products and articles from the Netto branch in Heilbronn are defective on the day of the test:
Frankfurt beef sausage;
2x200g:
"The sausages in one of the two chambers are covered with white-grey, raised deposits"
Black Forest ham;
200g:
"The goods have a mold coating"
liver sausage with veal;
150g:
"The cut surface is covered with a white-bluish coating"
chicken liver sausage;
150g:
"The cut surface is covered with a white-bluish coating"
bacon strips;
2x125g:
"The packaging protective film of a chamber is damaged.
The bacon strips are darkened"
2x Foie Gras, Cut Resistant;
125g:
"The use-by date of the two pies has already passed 4 days on the day of the determination"
Disgusting find at Netto: horror only with individual packs
The finds are individual packs and not entire batches.
However, it should still raise doubts about the freshness promise that the supermarkets give to consumers.
Furthermore, customers of the Heilbronner Netto branch no longer have to worry.
According to the publication on January 4th, it says: "The affected food has been disposed of".
When asked by HEIDELBERG24, the Netto press office responded: "Maintaining and ensuring high product quality is an absolute priority for Netto Marken-Discount".
They very much regret that in this individual case there were deviations from the high quality standards.
This is not in line with their corporate policy.
Ekel-Fund at net: statement of the press office
"Our quality standards are always very conscientiously observed by our employees and continuously checked," the press office continues.
They also emphasize that the employees on site "are made aware of the above topic and trained again".
Hopefully, this incident will provide better control in the market so consumers can shop without fear.
What consumers absolutely need to know in 2023 are the changes at Rewe, Netto, Edeka as a new packaging law comes into effect.
